About
I'm a Ph.D. student (ABD now) in English, working on a dissertation that is about understanding how and why people interact with virtual worlds. My work combines literary study (narrative theory, semiotics), social science (communication theory, ethnography), and the inherent interdisciplinarity of virtual-worlds studies. My other interests include classroom technologies and science fiction.
I am also an Instructional Technologist at Oxnard College.
